This interview was conducted as one of a larger series of interviews dealing with feminist art and media of the ‘70s in Los Angeles. It was intended to document Judy Chicago’s contribution to that movement and so, rather than being a full biographical interview, covers only the fist few years of the 1970s.
The original tape recordings of the interview are in the university archives and are available under the regulations governing the use of permanent noncurrent records of the university. Records relating to the interview are located in the office of the UCLA Oral History Program.
